Our Mission

The Fellowship of Concerned Churchmen (FCC) was founded in 1973 as a coordinating agent for lay people and clergy concerned about the breakdown of faith and order within the Episcopal Church of the USA.

The FCC sponsored the St. Louis Church Congress in September 1977, where The Affirmation of St. Louis was adopted. This document spells out the fundamental principles and doctrine of orthodox Anglicanism. The FCC continues today, giving voice to those who believe that the Anglican expression of the Catholic and Apostolic Faith is worth preserving, and who also believe that this can only be achieved through a genuine promotion of harmony and communication among the various jurisdictions in existence. Our goal is Anglican unity—without compromise of the Apostolic Faith—and we are dedicated to working for this unity.

In addition to publishing the Directory of Traditional Anglican and Episcopal Parishes, the FCC serves as a resource for providing encouragement and educational aids for the use of members and congregations in their worship, understanding and commitment to Jesus Christ. Wherever possible, the FCC promotes fellowship among Anglicans by encouraging meetings and conferences that bring together communicants from the various jurisdictions. Please join us to make a common voice, praying together and calling upon the Holy Spirit to guide us in this undertaking.

FCC membership is open to individual Anglicans and Episcopalians who are communicants in good standing within an Anglican or Episcopal jurisdiction, and who sign a declaration stating that they agree with the purposes and goals of the FCC, The Affirmation of St. Louis, and intend to work and pray for unity and harmony among traditional Anglicans. (Please review our Fundamental Texts page for more information.)

Annual dues (tax-deductible) are US $20.00 for individual and US $25.00 for family memberships (married couples).

If you are interested in becoming a member of the Fellowship of Concerned Churchmen, you are invited to fill out and return the Membership Form.

The FCC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization incorporated in Maryland in 1983. Donors are invited to make tax-deductible donations to support our efforts. Please contact us to learn about donations.
